Every Friday 8-10pm at Wadham Sports Hall in Crewkerne with plastic shuttles on four courts. All ages and standards including social players. First night is free, casual players pay £4 per night.

Was at Port Regis School but probably now at a new venue in Gillingham. Club nights were Tuesday and Thursday 8-10, and there are probably open session on Mondays. League club originally formed to play as a portmanteau team in the the Taunton League, now in the West Dorset League. Team practice is Wednesdays 8:30-10 at Abbey Manor plus some Thursdays & Fridays 7:30-10 at East Coker. Home matches are 7:30 Fridays at East Coker. Contact is Peter Calcraft on 07890-902005.

All standards (including beginners) all seasons and a good mix, were Sundays 6-8pm at the Gryphon and Thursdays 8-10pm at Oxley Sports Centre with plastic shuttles, but these days, times and venues are liekly to be out of date. They have no website but you can find their latest info and contact them on Facebook. Organiser is Nili Foo.

Evening classes all year round with feathers 7:30-9:30pmat Stanchester in Stoke-sub-Hamdon (that's just outside Yeovil). We hope to restore our Tuesday club nightsoon.

Monday 8-10pm at Huish Leisure (attached to Huish Academy in Langport at TA10 9SS). Social club (not league) with a good level from relative beginners to intermediate standard (many ex-league players) and plastic shuttles. One of the biggest clubs in the area in days gone by, the Westfield Badminton Club disbanded at the end of the 2003 season (they're listed here because they're still listed elsewhere as an active club and you'd probably like an internet search to tell you they're not).

Club night is Wednesdays 7:30 at Wincanton Sports Centre. Plays all year round (ie. including the summer) with plastic shuttles. Beginners and improvers are welcome. Contact is Caroline Coombes on 01963 32423.

A former county and league club that played Fridays at Westlands.

Yeovil are a county and league club formed by the merger of Yeovil Grads and Westlands, now playing all year round. Club night is 8-11pm on Mondays with feathers at Westlands Sports Centre in Yeovil. Juniors are 6-7pm and adult improvers are 7-8pm, also at Westlands on Mondays. Contact is Jane Lipton on 07411 044071.
